WHAT IS SALVATION?
John 3:16

Today I am going to discuss the topic of salvation. In the times that we live in, approximately 1/3rd of the population of the planet falls under the umbrella of Christianity.

Religioustolerance.org states that 34,000 different religious groups have been identified that call themselves Christian.

Most who call themselves Christian believe that they are saved by grace, not of works so that no man can boast.

They believe that they can simply confess Jesus Christ is Lord and they are saved and have eternal life.

This belief is based on the false writings of Saul of Tarsus.  How does this teaching and this belief compare to the words of our Messiah that He gave us through the eyewitnesses who walked with Him?

He came with a totally different message;

Matt 12:48-50

48 ……Who is my mother? And who are my brethren?

49 And He stretched forth His hand toward His disciples and said, behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever SHALL DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

As a matter of fact, Yehshua, our Savior, never once mentioned the word grace in regards to salvation. He talked about keeping the commandments and loving one another.

His teachings teach us how to repent or change from our ways and to follow His Father’s instructions.

He also talked about Himself being the gate that all must enter through.

It is important to realize that He was the character or the word of Elohiym made to be flesh. The word of Elohiym is the name that He was given as recorded by John in Revelations.

Yehshua tells us that it is the word of Elohiym that all will be judged by. This is certainly different than the message of grace and simply confessing His name and being good to go.

Saved by grace is a lie apart from our walking in agreement with Him. Salvation is certainly a matter of His grace or His favor but it is not what gets us into His family in and of itself. If it were, why are we even here? Why not just go straight to His Kingdom?

I want to discuss what salvation is because more than a couple of billion people on the planet today think that they possess it through a false hope that is based on lies. My hope is that some MIGHT START TO BELIEVE THE WORDS of their Creator and His Son over Saul of Tarsus.

Here is the Strong’s definition of the primary word that is translated as salvation in the Hebrew texts;

OT:3444
yeshuw` ah (yesh-oo'-aw); feminine passive participle of OT:3467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) DELIVERANCE; HENCE, AID, VICTORY, PROSPERITY:

In the King James it is translated as; deliverance, health, help (-ing), welfare as well as salvation, save, saving (health)

It conveys the meaning of being delivered from distress. This is also the name that our Messiah is called by.

Here is another Hebrew word that is sometimes translated as salvation and it is;

yesha` (yeh'-shah); or yesha` (yay'-shah); from OT:3467; liberty, deliverance, prosperity:

KJV - safety, salvation, saving.

Both words are linked to the Hebrew word # 3467 which is yay’sha which means to open wide or be free.

I have discussed the words of the Apostle John in other segments about what it means to confess the name or the character of Yehshua. It is action affirmative meaning it is by what we live.

If we are actually confessing His name, we are confessing the word of Elohiym. John does not say to confess with our mouth, that’s Saul’s addition and perversion of the truth.

His word is truth; it is what sets us free. It is what saves us. Believing Him equates to believing His word and is confessed by us living it.

Everything must be defined with the purpose that YEHWEH created us. He created us to fashion us in His image so that we can become His children.

The Greek word that is translated to our English word salvation is;

NT:4991
soteria (so-tay-ree'-ah); feminine of a derivative of NT:4990 as (properly, abstract) noun; rescue or safety (physically or morally):

KJV - deliver, health, salvation, save, saving.

You can see it is pretty much the same definition as the Hebrew words that are used for the word salvation.

Salvation is deliverance, whether it be deliverance from a physical trauma such as a disaster, or deliverance from a disease or deliverance from our carnal nature. The word that was given to us accomplishes all three of these plus much more.

It delivers us from all evil. It molds us in His image and completes us and makes us whole.

The amazing thing is Yehshua only used the word salvation once that was recorded by any of the eyewitness. It is never used by Matthew who was an eyewitness and only once by John when He quoted Yehshua.

It is also used three times coming out from heaven in the book of Revelations.

The word is primarily used in the writings of Saul and his followers Luke and Mark in texts that pervert the true good news. Here is the one verse that the Apostle John quoted Yehshua using the word;

John 4:21-24

21 Yehshua said to her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes when you shall neither worship the Father in this mountain, nor at Jerusalem.

22 You do not know what you worship: we know what we worship: FOR SALVATION is from Judea.

He is telling this woman that her and her people might claim to be worshipping the Father but it is not in truth because they did not know the truth.

23 But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: BECAUSE THE FATHER SEEKS SUCH TO WORSHIP HIM.

24 Elohiym is a Spirit: and they that worship Him MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.

This is an awesome passage. He is telling the woman that her worship is not worshipping His Father because she is not worshipping Him in spirit and in truth.

He is also telling her that His Father is seeking those who will worship Him in truth. What is the truth according to the word of Elohiym made to be flesh?

John 17:17

17 SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH YOUR TRUTH: YOUR WORD IS TRUTH

We are made holy by living the word and having it live in us. This is what gives us favor with our Creator. He does not give us His favor because we live some syrupy grace doctrine that makes His word of none affect that was made up by satan and his followers.

He is holy and He commanded us to become holy, so did His Son command this. His word is what transforms our minds. This is the purpose of His word that He gave us to live by. It is the blueprint to become His family.

The woman goes on in this dialogue to explain that she did understand that the Messiah would come and tell them what was true.

And He did, but man still chose to reject the truth that He brought and continued to worship lies, all except a small flock.

Yehshua taught the Kingdom of His Father and how to enter into it. Entering into His kingdom is a process of being delivered from our nature and be transformed into agreement Him. His blood makes this possible because it cleanses us so that His word can be written in us.

It all ties into the reason that He made us, He is building a family.

His blueprint is perfect; it is living the word of Elohiym that sets us free or delivers us. Yehshua tells us this plainly in;

John 8:31-32

31 Then Yehshua said to those Jews which believed on Him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;

32 AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE.

This is a very straight forward instruction. It is the same straight forward instruction that the other prophets came with.

First step; continuing in His word.

This is the step that Christianity wants to leave out. They want to live the words of a false apostle who takes them away from His instructions.

Why is this? Well, it feels good to go to sleep at nights thinking you are good to go because you have found favor with your Creator. It’s easy to believe this because there is not fear of Elohiym with this belief. It is a comfortable, feel good belief.

The problem is, it is a lie.

This is a key to understand, fear is necessary for understanding and knowledge. It is the beginning of the transformation process.

If you can do away with the fear or set it aside, which is what the false gospel of grace does, then you have effectively destroyed the vehicle that would have given you salvation. You simply tread underfoot the blood of your savior.

Yehshua tells the lukewarm called out ones to anoint your eyes with eye salve. I did a segment on this subject called “Eyes to See & Ears to Hear” that explains this in more detail.

The eye salve is the spirit of the fear of YEHWEH. We must fear losing out on what He is offering and fear going against Him. It is healthy and it creates a desire within us to be in agreement with His character.

Matt 10:28

28 Do not fear them which can kill the body, but are not able to kill your eternal life: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both eternal life and your body in the lake of fire.

Isaiah said in chapter 11 that Yehshua would be given quick understanding of the spirit of the fear of YEHWEH. He possessed this spirit without measure as He did all seven of His Father’s spirits that He wants to give to man.

Do you think it is not important for you to possess this spirit? Do you think that His shed blood that day at Golgatha was so that you no longer have to fear His Father? 

Well, if you think this way you have fallen into a trap and are snared by satan because the word was given to us to accomplish His purpose. And again, His purpose is to mold us in His image so that we can be saved or delivered into His family.

Salvation is salvation from self. This is why Yehshua said that we must deny self and follow Him. Who was He? He was the word made to be flesh.

If you want to continue to follow your boy Saul of Tarsus, you are heading to the lake of fire and you are calling your salvation a liar.

Salvation became flesh in the form of the Son of our Almighty Creator. He was given a name, the word of Elohiym.

He quoted Moses who was quoting your Creator when He said;

Matt 4:4

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Elohiym.

I do not see Him saying that man should live by some of the words and pick and choose which ones they want to live by or define them how they would like to fit their comfort zone or fit into their belief structure.

I do not find Him saying in scripture; “I am dying so you do not have to keep the law anymore, after all, the law is a bad thing and is not necessary any more, worship me and my Father however you want. Make up your own religions and make your own traditions to worship with.”

No, I see Him making statements like;

John 14:15

15 If you love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21

21 He that has my commandments, AND KEEPS THEM, it is he that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

It sounds conditional to me. Maybe you want to think that it is just the Ten Commandments? Good luck using that for justification, especially when you do not even want to know when His Sabbaths are or follow what He says about observing them.

John 14:23

23 Salvation (Yehshua) answered and said to him, if a man loves me, he will keep MY WORD: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.

24 He that does not love me does not keep my sayings: and THE WORD which you hear IS NOT MINE, but the Father's which sent me.

If you say you love Him and do not do as He said, you are a liar. Yehshua tells this plainly. John was an eyewitness and Yehshua said that His testimony would not die.

Today’s salvation by grace is completely opposite to the purpose that our Creator gave us His word. It is opposite to the reason that Yehshua willingly poured out His blood for you.

He poured out His blood so that you could be forgiven and walk in His footsteps. If you want to continue to walk in the footsteps of Saul of Tarsus and continue to live in captivity to the great whore, that is your choice.

I am just pleading on my Father’s behalf for you to wake up and repent. Return unto Him and His statutes.

John 3:16

16 Because Elohiym so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes INTO Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

There are many translation errors in man’s translations of the scriptures and this one word here is a big one. Most translations say whosoever believes “in” Him.

If you want to water His word down and say your Salvation was a liar with everything else He spoke and just to continue to believe the lies, again, that is your choice.

If I were you I would look up the word, it is INTO Him. Satan believes “in” Him.

He was the word of Elohiym. The word has a purpose. If you want to continue to deny the word, you simply deny Him and you do not confess Him.
Then you are a liar and the truth has no place in you.

Man’s allotted time of self-rule is about up. I am crying aloud to you this day to repent and return to His pathway that leads to His family.

If you believe into Him in spirit and truth, then you believe into His Father’s word and it will deliver you. If not, you worship Him in vain and you are simply flowing downstream with the current that leads to the lake of fire.
