Today I want to make a correction in the terminology that most, if not all bible translations use to identify the beginning of the month.

In addition to the translations of men, most people, including myself up until now, refer to the beginnings of the months as the new moons.

But this is not what the Hebrew writings in the scriptures call them.

The Hebrew word that is translated as new moon is the same Hebrew word that is translated everywhere else in the scriptures as the month.

There is a completely different Hebrew word that refers to the moon.

The Hebrew word for month is;

OT:2320

chodesh (kho'-desh); a month: -month (-ly)

This word is used 283 times in the scriptures and nearly always it is referring to a month.

However, by implication, when referring to the refreshing of each month, it is translated as the new moon.

This word comes from the Hebrew word;

OT:2318

chadash (khaw-dash'); a primitive root; to be new; causatively, to rebuild:

The king James always translated this word as; to renew or to repair.

If we use this understanding along with what the scriptures record elsewhere to determine how the word Chodesh should be translated when referring to the transition into a renewed month, it should be translated as the renewed or the head of the month or the top of the month and not a new moon.

In some places the scriptures refer to the beginning of the months as ro'sh Chodesh and ro'sh means the head or the top as in the top of a mountain or the head of a man.

The calling of them the new moons came from using the moon to determine when the months begin.

And the scriptures testify that this needed to be the case because there was going to be a point when YEHWEH planned on altering the cycles.

He is all- knowing, He knew what He was going to do.

And this point created a situation where determining His appointed times became an estimate.

With this alteration, the rotations reflect that some months have 29 days and some of them have 30 days.

But this was not always the case.

Prior to this alteration, all months had 30 days and the rotations were precise and they were in sync with the 30 day cycle.

And within this 30 day cycle, there was always a two day celebration that divided each month.

And this two day break is the renewing of each month and from there, each month contains 4- 7 day cycles.

The translation new moon is actually misleading.

The Hebrew word for moon is;

OT:3394

yareach (yaw-ray'-akh); from the same as OT:3391; the moon:

KJV - moon. *** Yerechow. See OT:3405.

Here is where it gets really awesome in lieu of the here and the now.

You see here where the Strong's concordance refers us to the Hebrew word that they assign the number 3405 to.

Strong's number 3405 is the word for Jericho.

OT:3405

Yeriychow (yer-ee-kho'); PERHAPS FROM OT:3394; THE MOON; or else from OT:7306; (smell or odor); Jericho, a place in Palestine:

KJV - Jericho.

It actually comes from both of these words.

The names that things are called by in the scriptures are symbolic, they have meaning.

I am sure that you all know about the 7 day march around Jericho nearly 3,285 years ago.

And if you have been following along with what YEHWEH has restored and with how His end time timeline is unfolding, then you know about the recent 7 day period where He led me to sound the shofars to set up the walls of Babylon to come tumbling down.

In lieu of His recent restoration of the 30 day month and in lieu of this recent 7 day period, if you think that it is a coincidence that the word Jericho comes from the word moon and from the word smell, you are simply being willfully stubborn and stiff-necked.

There is a reason why our Messiah said that the only sign that would be given is the sign of Jonah.

This is about believing YEHWEH's word and believing that which it testifies to and then hearkening to it.

Nowhere in the scriptures are the months ever less than 30 days in length.

They were altered during the days of Hezekiah to an average of 29.53059 days because Hezekiah refused to believe YEHWEH's word given through His prophet Isaiah.

Now YEHWEH has risen up another prophet to restore all things like His first born son said that He would do.

And the "all things" includes the 30 day month.

Here is what YEHWEH said concerning Israel's Sabbath and head of month celebrations;

Isaiah 1

13 Do not continue to bring your false offerings to me; your incense is an abomination; YOUR NEW MOONS (THE HEADS OF THE MONTHS) AND YOUR SABBATHS, the calling of your assemblies WILL NOT PREVAIL; They are iniquity, EVEN YOUR FESTIVALS (holidays).

14 My soul hates your NEW MOONS (HEADS OF YOUR MONTHS) AND YOUR APPOINTED TIMES: THEY ARE A BURDEN TO ME AND I AM TIRED OF BEARING THEM.

You might want to get to considering if you have His appointed times correct or not.

And if you are hung up on man's translation of Chodesh being the new moon instead of it being the head of a renewed or repaired month and you want to hold onto using a physical sign instead of using what YEHWEH's word testifies to, this is certainly your choice to do so.

If this is the case, you are refusing to hearken to the correct restored timing of His Sabbaths along with the correct timing of the rest of His appointed times and the correct timing of the heads of His months which are also commanded worship days.

Regarding the here and the now, YEHWEH said;

Isaiah 58

12 And from you (referring to the remnant that will return to Him at the time of the end) I will build the vanished places that were made desolate (by the false shepherds like Saul of Tarsus and his followers that make up the blasphemous religion of christianity): and I will rise up the foundation of many generations and you will be called "THE REPAIRER OF THE BREACH" "THE RESTORER OF PATHS" TO DWELL IN.

13 IF YOU WILL RETURN YOUR FEET TO THE SABBATH AND DO MY DESIRE ON MY SET APART DAY AND CALL THE SABBATH A DELIGHT, the sanctified of YEHWEH, and glorify it; AND GLORIFY MY PATH (HIS TORAH), and attain my desire by speaking my words:

14 Then you will delight upon YEHWEH and you will ride upon the high places of the earth and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: BECAUSE THE MOUTH OF YEHWEH HAS SPOKEN IT.

What breach do you think He is referring to that needs to be repaired?

What path way is He talking about that needs to be restored?

Notice that He even singles out returning to His Sabbaths in these verses.

I showed you where the Hebrew word Chodesh comes from the word chadash which means to renew or to repair or to rebuild.

In lieu of this, is it a coincidence that He is repairing His 30 day month, therefore repairing the correct timing of His Sabbaths at this time in the restoration of all things?

Here is an end time prophecy that uses this same Hebrew word that the word month or Chodesh comes from;

Isaiah 61

4 And they shall "rebuild that which is forever" (His Sabbaths are to be a sign between Him and His children forever) that was made desolate and they shall "rise up that which was FROM THE BEGINNING" (His Sabbaths were from the beginning of His creation of mankind) that was devastated AND THEY SHALL "REPAIR" the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Could it really be a coincidence that the scriptures always record the months to be 30 days in length and the Hebrew word for month comes from the word that means to repair?

When the luminaries were altered, they were broken from being in perfect harmony and in perfect balance.

They were altered into a 19 year wobble.

From that time, the rotations reflected a 29.53059 day month average that resulted in an imperfect month that caused His appointed times to be estimated, all because Hezekiah required a physical sign and did not believe YEHWEH's word spoken through His prophet.

Is it a coincidence that YEHWEH said that He will rise up a prophet to repair that which was desolated and His word ties in His Sabbaths and the heads of His months in with that which is to be repaired?

Is it a coincidence that Yehshua also said that one would be sent in the spirit of Elijah to restore all things?

Is it a coincidence that He said that there would be no other sign given to the wicked and adulterous generation that requires a physical sign other than the sign of Jonah?

In lieu of all of this evidence in YEHWEH's word that the Sabbaths and the heads of the months would be repaired at the time of the end, don't you think that just maybe it is possible that the physical sign that Yehshua was prophesying about you requiring was referring to the moon?

Could it really be a coincidence that YEHWEH led me to scatter the last third of my hair exactly 90 days or 3- 30 day periods from the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and exactly 3- 30 day periods from the last day of the Feast of Temporary Dwellings in a restored calendar?

Especially since I did not even understand at that time that His timeline would be continued through the second 90 day period past July 19^th.

Folks, the evidence that He has given to us in His word that He has restored His 30 day months is irrefutable if you believe His word and use it to measure all things.

And this is about believing His word and hearkening to it.

His Son was made in the image of His word so if you do not believe into His word, you do not believe into the true image of His Son.

And not believing into the correct image of His Son is what condemns us.

His Son said so.

He said;

John 3:18

18 He that believes "INTO" Him (HE THAT BELEIVES INTO HIS FATHER'S WORD SINCE HE WAS MADE IN THE IMAGE OF HIS FATHER's WORD) is not condemned: but he that does not believe (INTO HIS FATHER'S WORD) is condemned already, because he has not believed "INTO THE NAME" of YEHWEH's only begotten Son.

Revelations 19:13 says that He was given the name YEHWEH's word.

In summary, the word that is translated as new moon means the head of the month or the top of the month.

The Hebrew word for moon is an entirely different word.

It is the same word that Jericho came from, along with the word for odor.

And the walls of Jericho came tumbling down, just like the walls of your false Sabbath days and your other abominations are going to come tumbling down.

They are a stench to YEHWEH, I just read to you where He said that He hates them.

And your false Sabbath traditions are not only Saturday or Sunday, but they are also all other methods that people use to determine when His Sabbaths are now that His 30 day month has been restored.

This includes using the first visible crescent or the conjunction phase or the full moon.

YEHWEH's word testifies to the restoration of the 30 day month and this is about using His word that His Son became in the flesh as the only measuring rod that we use and hearkening to.

And again, He altered the rotations because Hezekiah did not believe His word spoken through His prophet Isaiah.

And He did so in order to set up this showdown between truth and all that opposes it in the here and the now.

He did so to place this test in front of you to test you whether you would return to hearkening to His word and whether you would turn from deciding right from wrong for yourselves and turn from leaning on your own understanding.

He is going to deliver a people into the millennium who will hearken to His word and turn from their rebellion to it.

Folk's having His appointed times right and observing them correctly and at their correct appointed time is a most important thing to have correct.

Our Creator has restored all things just like He and His Son said that He would.

He said;

Daniel 10

21 Verily (truly), (referring to the time of the end) I will declare to you that which is recorded in the scripture of truth and THERE ARE NONE that seize me in these things but Michael my head steward.

His Son said;

Matthew 17:11

Elijah truly will come first (before He returns to pour out His Father's wrath) AND HE WILL RESTORE ALL THINGS.

You had better be turning from your rebellion to what He has restored and revealed and lay siege to it with me.

If you cannot see that all things includes the 30 day month, you simply are relying on your own understanding and you are not using His word for your measuring rod.

And again, finishing up in summarizing today's topic, YEHWEH does not call the heads or the tops of His months new moons.

I fell into this trap as well because of the translations of men and I made calling them the new moons a habit.

But it was a bad habit because it can be misleading because doing so can paint a picture in our minds that we need to see a physical sign that we deem as the new moon.

And yes, it is correct that we did have to rely on the physical sign of the lunar cycle to estimate when His Sabbaths were before He restored the 30 day calendar.

But all that doing so created was an estimate.

His word said that He set the luminaries in place for us to use to determine His appointed times because He knew that our ancestors were going to lose track of them.

He set it up so that we could estimate when they were in order to return to them.

But common sense shows that using the rotations alone is often nothing more than an estimate.

There is much confusion and division even within the different lunar based Sabbath groups out there.

Some groups think that they have gotten rid of it being an estimate by using the conjunction phase at a particular place such as Jerusalem or at the International Date Line.

The problem for them is, the conjunction phase is not what YEHWEH's word testifies to.

In any case, the confusion is over because His 30 day months have been restored.

Therefore the heads of His months have been clarified.

Therefore the correct timing of His Sabbaths and the rest of His appointed times have been clarified.

Now it is just a matter of returning to them.

Thus saith YEHWEH Elohiym
