HELL FIRE
Today I want to discuss the topic of Hell.
As with all things, we need to put any pre-conceived ideas that we might have on the shelf and desire the truth.
If you are coming to the truth, you have needed to do this in step by step fashion in order to keep being called out of the
darkness anyway, just as all have.
And, as with many things, our Creator has let people see the
truth on this subject because he was calling them. The problem is, even though many have seen the truth concerning this subject
or other truths that He has given to them, some have remained grounded in other lies that they would not let go of.
They chose to get stuck back in the mud hole because they refused additional truth, refusing to let go of pre-conceived
beliefs as He was calling them and He simply stopped calling them.
And, they return to their vomit,
maybe holding onto whatever truth or truths that they had allowed Him to prove to them before they were cut off.
Also, satan speaks some truth mixed in with his lies as well. This actually helps him keep people in deception because
they feel pretty good about themselves for knowing something when others do not. It is pretty easy to not look for what is
true when you already are lifted up and feeling good about yourself for what you know
There are
some cleverly placed translation errors in scripture that were put in place by the whore and other servants of satan to invent
a place of eternal punishment.
Modern day translations buy into these errors as well because
they have a pre-conceived idea that they need to support or uphold, especially to keep the money coming into the collection
plates.
Let’s analyze the subject;
Elohiym blinds people’s
eyes so that they CANNOT see and Yehshua speaks in parables so they CANNOT hear, then they sentence them to eternal punishment
for not seeing and not hearing.
It is pretty crazy to believe this is how it works if we just
step aside from what we have been taught and think about it. How can a loving Elohiym punish people forever and ever, especially
if no one can see the truth unless He gives it to them or allows them to see it in the first place?
If
any of us disagree with what Elohiym tells us through His written word, we are simply wrong in our thinking. All of man's
attempts to worship Him with their own understanding are wrong.
The only way that we can be right
and true is if we are in complete and total agreement with Him and with His word.
With that in
mind, let’s go to His word for clarification.
Elohiym says He takes NO pleasure in the
death of the wicked, less more their sufferings.
Ezek 33:11
1 Say
unto them, as I live, says YEHWEH Elohiym, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his
way and live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?
Yes, those who reject Him will be burnt up and yes they will be ashes under the saint's feet (in a spiritual since),
but not eternally punished.
Yes, their punishment will be eternal in the since of being everlasting
since they will be dead forever but that is way different than being eternally punished.
Apart
from some mistranslations and some not understood parables, the bible clearly teaches that the soul that sins shall DIE, not
be eternally tormented.
John 8:24
24 I
said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins.
Here are the different words translated to our English word hell in the bible. In what is called
today the Old Testament, hell is translated always from the Hebrew word sheole which simply means the grave, a hole in the
ground.
In what is called today the New Testament, there are three Greek words that mean entirely something
different from one another that were translated to our word "hell".
This would be like
using the American words bike, horse and tree and calling them a widget just to establish a false object or definition.
The Greek word hades is simply the grave, a hole in the ground. The Greek word tartaroo is a place of imprisonment or restraint,
describing where satan and the fallen angels will be placed, soon they will be totally bound for a thousand years before being
let loose for a season.
The Greek word gehenna translated as hell and is used by Yehshua a few
times as warnings in descriptive parables and once by James.
First, you have to know what the
word is. It is literally a valley outside of Jerusalem where the town garbage was burnt up as well as the bodies of the poor
or the criminals.
Just like our old town dump in my home town when I was growing up, the fire
never went out, it was always smoldering, even during the pagan holidays when no one was attending it. (of course we did not
have bodies thrown into it, at least I don't think we did (: )
Yehshua used this word to elaborate
the point that all will be burnt in the lake of fire that opposes Elohiym. Those listening to Him knew where he was talking
about when He used the word gehenna.
It is important to remember that Yehshua spoke in parables
that no one could understand except those whom it was given to understand.
Matthew 13:12-13
12 For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever
has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has.
13 Therefore speak
I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
The verses that gehenna are translated into our English word hell are Mt
5:22,29,30, Mt 10:28, 18:9, 23:15 & 33. and James 3:6.
The book of Mark chapter
9 and Luke in chapter 12 use the word a few times as well in repeating Yehshua’s parables. I want to note that I do
not give these books credibility because they were not eye witnesses, even though in these verses they were merely repeating
the parables that they had heard from the eye witnesses or others who shared them with them.
Matt
5:30
30 And if your right hand offend you, cut it off, and cast
it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast
into hell.(gehenna)
If you look, you will notice 6 of these 11 times Yehshua used
the word, it was in the parable of if your hand offend you, cut it off, if your eye offends you, pluck it out and in Mk 9
and in Mt 5 where Yehshua was leading up to this example (of the hand).
When you read these verses, try
substituting "lake of fire" in place of hell fire and see if that makes since.
I do understand
how, when combining preconceived ideas along with the translations of the parables that these words are used in as one word,
hell, one can conclude that it is a place of eternal punishing, especially if that was what we have been taught from youth.
However, it is just another false teaching that we must come out of, just like the rest of them.
It is eternal punishment because those will be dead forever but it is not being eternally punished.
Those burnt up in the lake of fire will be dead, dead, dead, forever, never to be resurrected again. This is the second DEATH.
(Rev.20:14)
Rev 20:14
14 And death and
hell (hades- the grave) were cast into the lake of fire. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH.
Why is there
a need for a second death if they are going to be eternally punished?
The concept of the place
taught by man as hell is it is not my Father’s nature, nor from Him. It was a clever lie by the translators to put fear
in man so that they kept paying money. It is a lie designed and given to them by the father of lies.
The
bible says in Rev 12:9, satan has deceived the whole world. Here is the verse that people most often use to defend their beliefs
on eternal torment;
Rev 20:10
10 And
the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and
shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The book of revelations is
prophetic and full of symbolism.
Also, people reference a parable in Luke 16 about judgment after
Yehshua was just discussing how not one jot or tittle of the law will pass away.
Let’s
assume that Yehshua actually did give this parable, if he did, Luke had to receive it second hand because he was not there
but for arguments sake, let’s say the parable was given and Luke’s account was accurate.
He
is saying that Yehshua spoke it. At the time Yehshua was here before His resurrection, Abraham was still in the tomb waiting
a resurrection, this is according to the very words of our Messiah, that no one had yet ascended into heaven except Him. We
read this in John 3:13.
Abraham did afterwards ascend there as well and is now one of the 24 Elders
because he was one of those saints that was resurrected after Yehshua died.
Matt 27:51-52
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom;
and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the tombs were opened;
and many bodies of the saints which slept arose
Point being, at the time of the
parable, if this parable was truly given, Abraham was certainly not sitting across from some great gulf. As with all things,
simply believe the word, no one had ascended as of the time that Yehshua was still in the flesh, this included Lazarus and
the rich man, it is a parable.
I will add one must be very careful to handle the writings of Luke
and Mark as divine scripture anyway; this includes the books of Acts which was written by Luke.
They
both followed Paul and if you are interested about how often Paul contradicted Yehshua and the true apostles, there is plenty
of proof that he was false.
These writings where given divinely inspired status from the catholic
church in the 4th century and Yehshua calls the catholic church the mother whore of Babylon.
In
any case, if we take a warning parable or a prophetic illustration to say that a loving Elohiym can torture His creation forever
and ever, especially when that concept contradicts His very plain words, then we have reached far indeed, all to make a cruel
god that fits into our pre-conceived ideas that came from lies anyway.
I ask each of you the question,
can you torment a dog, or cat or any other animal, less more another human being? (Granted, some can but those are cruel people)
If not, how can you believe that a loving Elohiym can?
Ezek 33:13
13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his
own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousness’s shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he
has committed, HE SHALL DIE FOR IT.
The
good news is incredible. It is not the same good news preached in the world's churches today. The gospel that Yehshua and
the true apostles taught is the good news of the soon coming kingdom of Yehweh Elohiym.
It is the good news that our
Creator is building a family, an awesome truth indeed. We are commanded to flee from man's teachings and doctrines and hold
fast to El Shadai’s ways.
It is fascinating what our Creator is doing in these last days,
restoring truth through His word. Granted, for a time, all who truly follow the Messiah in truth will be hated for His name's
sake.
Yehshua did not say that some would be hated; He said that we would be.
If any of us is to come after Him and follow Him, we must die to our own character and beliefs (our own logos)
and love and embrace His truth.
We must cry out to the Father for eyes to see and ears to hear
and fight to know and live by every word that He has given us through His son and through His servants the prophets and forsake
all that is false.
Ezek 18:20
20 The
soul that sins, it shall die
When it comes down to it, it does not matter what you
or I believe, or what we think, or what the "scholars" or "theologians" teach, or what we think we know
to be true, it is either true or not true. You or I cannot know what is true unless we are willing to flee from the lies.
Then we can enter into a new covenant with Him where He promises to write His laws and His precepts in our hearts and in our
minds.
As I said before, I do not know of very many people that could torment a sparrow or cat
or any animal for even a couple of minutes, yet Christianity teaches that a loving Elohiym can do so forever and ever to His
creation whom He loves, this is just sick when you think about it. No, the soul that sins (transgresses His laws) shall die,
plain and simple, just as his word says.
