Recently I had a conversation with someone that said I was being dogmatic.

He said that I was being dogmatic for speaking that we are commanded to obey all of the commandments, even the least of them like wearing blue tassels or fringes on the four corners of our garments.

He spoke of being dogmatic in a negative way.

Was our Messiah being dogmatic in a negative way when He said;

Matthew 5

19 Whosoever therefore BREAKS ONE OF THE LEAST OF THE COMMANDMENTS AND TEACHES OTHERS TO DO SO will be called or named least by the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever WILL DO THEM AND TEACH OTHERS TO DO THEM, they will be called great by the kingdom of heaven.

20 Therefore I say to you, THAT UNLESS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEEDS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE SCRIBES AND THE PHARISEES, YOU WILL IN NO WAY enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Then He went on to magnify His Father's Torah like Isaiah prophesied He would be sent to do.

What was the least of the commandments that He was referring to?

Could it have been wearing blue tassels like He did?

Matthew 9:20

20 And, behold a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood for twelve years came behind him and TOUCHED THE TASSEL (FRINGE) of his garment:

His wearing the tassels that we are commanded to wear is also recorded in the account of the men in Gennesaret coming to Him after the night that He walked out to His disciples on the stormy sea and calmed it.

They sought to only touch His tassels.

So was He being dogmatic in a negative way in wearing these tassels like we are commanded by His Father to wear them?

Is obeying our Creator's every word a negative?

Is keeping the Sabbath at the correct time ordained by our Creator being dogmatic in a bad way?

Is not working on the Sabbath being dogmatic in bad way?

Is stoning the one who gathers wood on the Sabbath being dogmatic in a negative way?

If so, I guess then our Creator is dogmatic in a negative way because He is the one who ordered the man who was caught gathering wood to be stoned.

Is setting aside ever 7^th year like we are commanded to being negative before our Elohiym's face?

Is being our brother's keeper by trying to plead with them to turn from their rebellion to the Most High being offensive to our Maker before His face?

Is trying to snatch our brothers out of the fire doing that which is wrong before YEHWEH's eyes?

Dictionary.com says that being dogmatic is;

dog·mat·ic

adjective

1.

of, pertaining to, or of the nature of a dogma or dogmas; doctrinal.

2.

asserting opinions in a doctrinaire or arrogant manner; opinionated.

So according to definition number one, doing what YEHWEH's word says to do and being dogmatic in doing so is doctrinal.

Obeying YEHWEH's word is sound doctrine and yes, our Messiah was of sound doctrine because He lived by His Father's every word.

But the man who was accusing me of being dogmatic was not referring to definition number one.

His understanding of being dogmatic was closer to definition number two because he was using it in a negative way.

Therefore he was also calling our Messiah's way of life a negative way of life and this is flat out shameful.

Our Messiah lived His Father's pathway.

He lived by His Father's every word.

It was His way of life and He told us to follow Him if we are going to have eternal life awarded to us.

Calling our Creator's pathway dogmatic in a negative way is shameful.

But most of you have no shame.

You call that which is good evil and you call that which is evil good.

Living in rebellion to the commandments, from the least of them to the greatest of them is evil.

And doing so and teaching others to do so will get you called the least by YEHWEH's kingdom.

Being called or named least or small by YEHWEH's kingdom does not mean that you will be there.

On the contrary, Yehshua makes it clear in the next verse that you will not be there when He said;

20 Therefore I say to you, THAT UNLESS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEEDS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE SCRIBES AND THE PHARISEES, YOU WILL IN NO WAY enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Calling the pathway to the kingdom of heaven a negative is a bad thing indeed.

YEHWEH's word is His pathway into His eternal family and there is no other way.

His Son said so.

His Son became His word in the flesh and told us walk as He walked.

This means that we are to become His Father's word in our flesh as well.

So, yes, according to definition number one, our Messiah was indeed dogmatic.

His doctrine was sound indeed because it was His Father's word.

The second part of the dictionary.com definition spoke about being dogmatic as;

asserting opinions in a doctrinaire or arrogant manner; opinionated.

If you have an opinion as to what is true that is in opposition to what YEHWEH's word says is true, then dying you will soon die if you do not turn from your opinion.

Here is what YEHWEH's word has to say on the matter;

Ezekiel 13:1-3

3:1 YEHWEH's word came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets (teachers) of Israel that prophesy, AND SAY TO THEM THAT PROPHESY (or teach) OUT OF THEIR OWN INTELLECT (their own opinion), Hear the word of YEHWEH;

3 Thus saith Adonai YEHWEH; WOE TO THE PROPHETS THAT FOLLOW A VILE SPIRIT AND SEE NOTHING!

It is a vile, unclean spirit that speaks against YEHWEH's word.

Revelation 16:13-14

13 And I saw THREE UNCLEAN SPIRITS LIKE FROGS come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of demons THAT BRING FORTH SIGNS which go forth to the kings of all of the world to gather them into the battle of that great day of El' Shadai.

The three unclean spirits that come out of the mouth of the dragon and the beast and the false prophet are;

•1)    The spirit of LYING AGAINST THE TRUTH

•2)    The spirit of REBELLION TO OUR ELOHIYM'S WORD

•3)    The spirit of BLASPHEMING OUR ELOHIYM'S CHARACTER, therefore blaspheming His 7 spirits which teach us His righteous character.

It is outright shameful to possess these 3 spirits and have the fruit of them come out of your mouth like calling obeying even the least of our Creator's commandments a negative or speak that we do not have to do them.

Flat out shameful!

Ezekiel went on to record;

Ezekiel 13:4-6

4 The prophets (or teachers) of Israel are like the jackals in the places of desolation.

5 They have NOT RISEN UP THE BREACHES; NEITHER HAVE THEY CLOSED UP THE WALL so that the house of Israel will stand in the battle in the day of YEHWEH.

6 They perceive vanity and divination AND FALSEHOOD, and they say, YEHWEH HAS SAID BUT YEHWEH HAS NOT SENT THEM: and they hope to establish THEIR OWN WORD.

Ezekiel 13:7-9

7 Have they not perceived a vision of vanity, and have they not spoken A DIVINATION OF LIES, whereas they say, YEHWEH has said it; albeit I have not spoken it?

8 Therefore thus saith Adonai YEHWEH; BECAUSE THEY HAVE SPOKEN VANITY AND PERCEIVED LIES, therefore, behold, I am against them saith Adonai YEHWEH.

9 And my hand will be upon the prophets (or teachers) THAT PERCEIVE VANITY AND THAT DISTRIBUTE LIES: they will not be in the assembly of my people, neither will they be written in the scroll of the house of Israel, neither will they enter into the land of Israel; and they will know that I am Adonai YEHWEH.

Ezekiel 13:10-12

10 For this reason, because they (you false shepherds) have led my people astray, saying, peace and there was no peace; and you built up a wall and behold, it was daubed with UNTEMPERED MORTAR:

11 Say to them which daub (the wall) with untempered mortar, IT WILL FALL: there will be a gushing rain of hailstones AND IT (and YOU) WILL FALL; and storms and the winds (spirits) will break it down.

12 Lo, when your wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, where is the daubing wherewith you have daubed it?

Ezekiel 13:13-15

13 Therefore thus saith Adonai YEHWEH; I will break down your wall with storms and winds (spirits) in my fury; and there will be a gushing rain of great hailstones to destroy it in my anger and in my fury.

14 I will destroy the wall (the false religions) that you have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation (the sand) thereof will be discovered, and it will fall, and you will be consumed in the midst thereof: and you will know that I am YEHWEH.

15 Thus will I consume the wall (the false religions) in my fury, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar, and will say to you, YOUR FALSE RELIGION (WORSHIP) IS NO MORE, NEITHER YOU THAT DAUBED IT;

Ezekiel 13:16-23

16 The prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith Adonai YEHWEH.

17 You son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, WHICH PROPHESY FROM THEIR INTELLECT (YOUR OPINIONS) and prophesy against them,

18 And say, thus saith Adonai YEHWEH; Woe to you who sew soft seats upon all of the knuckles of your hands, and make veils upon the heights of your heads and lie in wait for souls and LIE IN WAIT FOR THE SOULS OF MY PEOPLE SAYING THEY WILL LIVE.

19 You defile me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread and YOU SLAY THE SOULS THAT SHOULD NOT DIE, AND YOU GIVE LIFE TO THE SOULS THAT SHOULD NOT LIVE BY YOUR LYING TO MY PEOPLE that hear your lies.

20 Wherefore thus saith Adonai YEHWEH; Behold, I am against your soft cushions that you spread out to lie in wait for souls. I will tear them from your arms and will send away your souls, the souls that spread out to lie in wait (to deceive others).

21 I will tear your veils and deliver my people out of your hand, AND THEY WILL NO LONGER BE IN YOUR HAND TO BE SNARED BY YOUR NETS; and you will know that I am YEHWEH.

22 Because your falsehood has grieved the righteous hearts whom I have not been grieved with; AND YOU HAVE GIVEN COURAGE to the hands of the wicked SO THAT HE WOULD NOT RETURN FROM HIS WICKED WAYS by promising him life:

23 Therefore you will NO LONGER DISTRIBUTE DIVINATIONS NOR PERCEIVE VANITY: I will deliver my people out of your hand: and you will know that I am YEHWEH.

How does Ezekiel's prophecy of the untempered mortar and the walls crashing down in the coming tempest line up with what our Messiah spoke?

Right after He said He will tell all of you who lived apart from His Father's Torah to depart from Him because He never knew you, He said;

Matthew 7

24 Therefore who ever hears MY WORD AND DOES IT, I will liken him to a wise man which built his house UPON A ROCK:

25 And the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it did not fall: BECAUSE IT WAS FOUNDED UPON A ROCK (He says that the rock is "doing or living His Father's word")

26 And every one that hears MY WORD AND DOES NOT DO IT will be likened to a foolish man which built his house UPON THE SAND (the sand is not "doing or living His Father's word"):

27 And the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell and GREAT WAS ITS FALL.

This sounds an awful a lot like what I just read to you that Ezekiel recorded.

If your house is built on the sand, with untempered mortar, prepare to experience a great fall.
