BEARING THE NAME OF YEHWEH ELOHIYM

Before we get started, I want to mention that I know there are a lot of scholarly arguments about the pronunciation of Yehweh or Yahwey or Jehova or Yehova or His Son’s name Yehushua or Yehshua or Yawshua, or do we simply refer to them by the names used in our native languages like God or Theos or Gott or Jesus Christ?

In engaging in these arguments we might easily miss the point about what the name actually is so if any of you are offended that I refer to them as Yehweh or ‘El Shadai, which means the Almighty God and is the name that He gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or Jesus as Yehshua, I ask you to not get caught up in those arguments.

In my conversations with Yehweh, I actually simply speak to Him with the name that He is to me and that is my Father.

Okay, commandment number 3;

THOU SHALT NOT TAKE THE NAME OF YEHWEH ELOHIYM IN VAIN.

If we analyze this verse we ought to make sure we know what the name of Yehweh Elohiym is since this is a command.

The word used by Yehweh for “take” means to bear, wear, carry, regard, etc.

If we claim to be His begotten children, we are literally to clothe our thoughts, our speech, our actions, how we live in His name or His image. We represent Him.

He goes on to warn us because He will not hold him Guiltless who take His name in vain.

Guiltless can be translated to make clean or to acquit or free, etc. Vain means falsely or in a desolating way or in an insubstantial way.

His name is descriptive of His character, His perfect holy, righteous character or who He is.

This is a serious affair because He created us to become His children, to overcome and take on His character, to bear His name. He has purposed to make us in His image.

The problem is man has reversed this. For six thousand years most all have rejected His perfect will and twisted it and distorted it. They take bits and pieces of truth and make their own religion out of it.

All of the false religions of the world have made and serve an imaginary god.  Modern day Christianity, adds to this and has made an imaginary Messiah, one that is palatable to their lifestyles. In doing so, these false religious structures have attempted to make Yehweh and His son into their image, or who they want them to be.

In Yehweh’s perfect plan to build a family, He has allowed for this. He gave man free will and free moral agency to choose to either cling to Him and desire to be in His family or choose to go and manufacture other gods in their minds.

If we look at the sin of the first man Adam and his wife Eve we find that they rejected their Creator’s instructions and chose for themselves right from wrong.

The consequence? Yehweh let them live out their lives without His guidance. They were driven out and shut out from the garden and could not eat from the tree that gives eternal life.

That tree is a symbol of Yehweh’s spirit, His power that communicates with our spirit. It is through this power that we are guided into all truth. It teaches us to become at one with and in total agreement with Him.

The problem is, we do not and cannot have access to His spirit unless we walk in obedience to Him as outlined by His instructions. Scripture clearly teaches us that if we hearken not onto His instructions, He cuts us off and He does not change, He is the same yesterday and forever.

If we jump ahead in the story to when He brought forth His son to be our teacher, more is explained. Yehshua became a perfect example of His Father’s holy righteous character. In John, chapter one, we read.

John 1:1-2

1 In the beginning was the word or the logos, and the logos was unto Elohiym, and the logos was Elohiym.

2 The same was in the beginning unto Elohiym.
 
Through the logos all things were made and nothing was made without it.

We are told that in it is life and that it is light. We are also told that the
darkness does not comprehend it, just as with Yehshua whom His own kind
received Him not.

The logos is His perfect holy righteous character, His very image, it is His name.

The apostle John tells us that John the Baptist was sent to bear witness or
testify to the light.

We jump to verse 14 and find the explanation of light that John bore
Witness to;

John 1:14-15

14 And the logos (the character of Elohiym) was made (willed or caused to be or came into being) flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten (sole child) of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, this was he of whom I spoke, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

Yehshua became the very character of Elohiym. We read later in John how this happened, He was given Elohiym’s spirit without measure.

As we go further, we find in Revelations that His Father gave Him a name
and that name is the logos of Elohiym. He took on His Father’s holy
righteous character, He became that nature.

What gets really exciting is we can ask Yehweh Elohiym for anything in
Yehshua’s name and it will be granted. Of course understanding what this
means brings us right back front and center to the 3rd commandment.

We must wear Yehshua’s name, His character, as He wore His Father’s
name, not taking it lightly but living by every logos that Elohiym, His Father
spoke through His servants the prophets and through His son.

Most of you hearing this will rather hold onto lies, just thinking that by
saying the name of Jesus at the end of your prayers makes them heard.

No, Yehweh tell us in the book of Proverbs that our prayers are an
abomination to Him if we turn our ear from His law. Isaiah describes the
character of Elohiym when he records;

Isa 59:1-3

59:1 Behold, the Yehweh’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your Elohiym, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood (remember that Yehshua magnified the law to tell us that if we so much as are angry with a brother without cause shall be in danger of the judgment) , and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

John gives us the definition of sin or iniquity in 1 Jn where He tells us sin is
transgression of the law. John also explains in chapter one that all who
receive Him (Yehshua whom was manifested as the logos) are given the
power to become sons of Elohiym. We must receive and bear His character.

CONSIDER how crazy it is to HOLD ONTO  DOCTRINES THAT HAVE BEEN HANDED DOWN RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS TAUGHT BY MEN WHO DO NOT EVEN KEEP THE COMMANMENTS OF ‘EL SHADAI THEMSELVES.
ALSO CONSIDERWHAT HIS SON SAID IN AS RECORDED BY MATTHEW;

20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.

21 Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity . Iniquity is lawlessness!

John tells us who the saints are in Revelations chapter 14; those that keep the
commandments of Elohiym and the faith of Yehshua

Keep in mind that what we truly believe (have faith in) will be represented
in our actions.

To pervert the name or character of our Creator and His Son has some
serious consequences. We were created to bear His name, to fight to
overcome our nature and our will and receive His perfect character. His
commandments and His precepts lead us to His very character if we will but
yield to His instructions. The instructions are to repent from our ways and let
the master potter mold and fashion us in His image.

The question is, do you want to fear going against His will and His word and
fear to profane His name and forsake the erroneous teaching and lies of man
and man made religions?

There certainly are some pretty high stakes involved because the world is
getting ready to be hurled into very difficult times as man’s six thousand
years of self rule comes to an end.

The message of the entire word of Elohiym is repent or turn from our ways
and turn to His ways. We are to forsake our ways and seek Him while He
may be found.

I know many of you have been taught that no one seeks after Him, no not
one. Those are just lies passed down through the writings of Paul but I will
address that in another segment. We were created to seek Him with all of our
being, to desire Him, to fight for Him to set us apart and make us holy as He is holy.

It is true that no one can come to the gate (Yehshua) unless my Father drags
us but that is because of our stubborn rebellious nature and we need His help
most assuredly because the fight is a battle but we must boldly fight for
and desire it.

This is all by design as well. We had to be given free will to choose, to
choose the eternal blessing of becoming part of ‘El Shadai’s family.

What an opportunity indeed!

Yehshua spoke plainly when He said, whosoever would find His life,
speaking of eternal life, shall first loose it. We are to forsake our nature, our
life and all that is of this earth and be made in their image, bearing their
name or character and that is achieved through obedience to the instructions given to us.

It is time to stop listening to false teachers who take you away from the
commands of Yehweh, in them there is life. They lead us to the light and
they are truth. They teach us about Him and His plan to build a family.
It is time to stop making the mistake of Adam and Eve over and over again
by continuing to decide right and wrong for ourselves while rejecting the
instructions given to us by our Creator.

It is time to stop being willfully ignorant and defiant by ignoring or
perverting what the instructions say.
The world is getting ready to go through quite the curbing process to humble
mankind, will you yield to the perfect design of you Creator or will you keep
believing man who cannot even obey Him themselves?

Most will stubbornly hold onto the lies, reject what is obvious, all because
their pride will not let them let go of the false teachings they grew up with
under the helm of the temporary ruler of this age of man, Lucifer, who
become satan because of His stubborn pride as well.

Yehshua makes it clear when He says that He will tell us who His brothers
and sisters are, they are those who do the will of His Father. I can assure you
that it is His will that we bear or represent His name and not take it lightly or
pervert or profane it.
 
It is time to stop taking the shed blood of Yehweh’s first born Son in vain.

It is time to stop taking the character of Elohiym in vain
.
It is time to stop being led to the slaughter by false shepherds who reject the
commands of Yehweh Elohiym, our Creator, the self-existing one who gave
us life and wants to give us eternal life.
