THE EZEKIEL 24 FAST

For those of you who are following the calendars that are posted on the http://www.repairingthebreach.info/ site, you may have noticed that there is a scheduled fast for the 10^th day of this 10^th month that we are in.

This is only a couple of days away so I am posting this video to discuss why our Elohiym is calling for this fast at this time.

In Zechariah 8 we read;

Zech 8:19

19 Thus saith YEHWEH of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, AND THE FAST OF THE TENTH are to be good appointed times to the house of Judah for joy and gladness; therefore love truth and peace.

I have not been led to study these fasts or this verse until now.

My Father has had me focused elsewhere and there is so much that He is restoring and teaching me that He has not had these fasts be my focus yet.

However now, He is showing great significance to the fast of the 10^th month.

The only fast that I have found that is commanded elsewhere in the scriptures as an appointed time is the Day of Atonement.

This would be the fast of the 7^th month, although Judaism also has a fast in their traditions on the 3^rd day of this month as well to commemorate the murder of one of the governors of Judah.

I found that their tradition upholds that the 4^th month fast is on the 17^th day of the month to commemorate the tearing down of the wall at Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar and the cessation of the temple worship during the siege of Titus.

The 9^th day of the 5^th month is the day that Judaism sets aside to fast for remembering the tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people.

And some of them set aside the 1^st day of the 5^th month to be a fast for a time of bereavement for Aaron the high priest.

They have other fast days in their tradition as well and these traditions are not the subject of this video.

Today I am going to focus on the fast of the 10^th month.

The fast of the 10^th month was to commemorate the fall of Jerusalem to Babylon.

I will show you how this ties in with where we are at in time;

Ezekiel 24:1-2

24:1 In the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, YEHWEH's word was made to be to me, saying,

2 Son of Adam, record you the name (the description) of the day, the self-same day that the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.

He goes on to record the parable for these last days that results in His end-time signal being given to Zerubbabel.

He does not use the name Zerubbabel in this parable but He describes him as one who would escape or be delivered up out of the captivity.

And the name Zerubbabel means one that would flow out of the captivity.

If you have been listening to these videos, you know that I have come forth with the 5 point sign that is described in this parable.

I have spoken about it in several of these videos so I am not going to go into it in detail today.

I just gave a summary of it again yesterday.

The thing that I want to focus onto today is the fast that our Elohiym is calling for on this day.

YEHWEH said that when He sends this signal out, you can know that it is from Him.

This is a prominse.

But since this sign has been brought forth, almost no one has hearkened to it.

This is why it is going to take great calamity to prick people's ears so that they will hear.

Our Elohiym has called for a fast this day to loosen the bands of wickedness.

This fast will follow the guidelines of the fast on the last Day of Atonement.

This means that we are to begin the fast the night before at sundown by stopping the intake of food and water for a 24 hour period of time.

The petition that He is asking us to bring before Him is the same petition that was set forth in this year's Day of Atonement.

It is described in Isaiah 58.

I will speak to you what was recorded in the 7^th month High Days video part 2 on this subject;

At the end of Isaiah 57, Elohiym says that there is no peace for the wicked or there is no shalom for the wicked.

I have spoken on this in other videos and how it ties into these last days in with other prophesies about there being no peace.

Isaiah goes on in chapter 58 to record YEHWEH saying;

Isa 58:1-2

58:1 Cry aloud, spare not (or do not refrain yourself), lift up your voice like a trumpet, and stand boldly or announce to the people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob their sins.

2 Seek me day by day, and desire to know my path, and be a nation that does righteousness, and do not forsake the judgments of our Elohiym: Inquire of my judgments of right; and desire to approach our Elohiym.

These verses have always applied but I will show you as I keep reading that these verses are a prophesy that is referring to returning to Him in the last days.

He is referring to right now.

He is saying to return to Him.

This was always to be the case as far as seeking Him, but right now these verses are being fulfilled right before our eyes.

Everything has led up to this time that we are in now.

He continues;

Isa 58:3-4

3 Why have I not seen your fasting and the affliction of your life? You have no knowledge. Behold, in the day of your fast you come forth for your all of your desires, and harass the workmen.

4 Behold, you fast for strife and contention, AND YOU DO NOT FAST TO STRIKE THE FIST OF INIQUITY SO THAT YOUR VOICE WOULD HAVE BEEN HEARD ON HIGH.

This is so important to understand what He is saying.

He is telling us that we have fasted for the wrong reasons and He has not heard.

He says that we have fasted for the problems that are in our lives or for our will to be done with others but we have not fasted for evil to be purged out.

And He has not heard our affliction.

Isa 58:5-6

5 THIS IS TO BE A FAST THAT I HAVE CHOSEN; a day for man to afflict his soul. Bow down your heads in thorns in sackcloth and ashes. And spread the cry to fast this day as a desire to YEHWEH.

6 IS NOT THIS THE FAST THAT I HAVE CHOSEN? To lose the bands of iniquity, to untie the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free and to tear off every yoke.

This is what we need to be fasting for.

This day of desiring this is being commanded for this day just as it has always been, but this day (referring to this past Day of Atonement) it is extremely significant because this set apart day was to point to the day that we are in because it has led up to where we are at in time.

And I will add today that this 10^th day of His 10^th month is a continuance of Him wanting this to be our cry.

He is still choosing for this to be our fast.

Isa 58:7-8

7 You have not divided your bread to the hungry and you mistreat the lowly that come to your house because you hide your eyes when you see the naked and you do not cover his flesh.

8 Now break open as the morning light, and hurry to be made whole: AND BRING FORTH RIGHTEOUSNESS AS HE GATHERS THE SPLENDOR OF YEHWEH.

What a time that we live in.

These verses are tying in with what He has been giving about breaking our pitchers and filling our lamps with His oil.

His oil in our lamps is His 7 spirits that light His path that leads to His righteousness.

We must let His righteousness spring forth as a light to this dark world.

Also the part about crying aloud and sparing not or not refraining ourselves is right down the line with all of these prophesies coming together including the offering of righteousness that He has called for.

Isa 58:9-10

9 Then you will call out, and YEHWEH will listen and if you will cry out to be delivered, He will say, behold, and I will take away the yoke from your midst, and I will send away the speaking of iniquity with my finger.

10 And the hungry soul will obtain, and the afflicted soul will be satisfied and light will rise up in the darkness, and the concealed will be in the noon day light.

This is powerful what He is revealing.

We must break forth His righteousness in this dark world to usher in His Son returning and to break down the towers of darkness.

These verses tie the cry that He wants us to make together with what is involved in returning to Him.

Who has despised the day of small things, even if we are just a few in number, His light will sprout forth and overcome the darkness.

Not by might nor by power but by His sprit saith YEHWEH Elohiym.

But He wants us helping Him build His family.

He wants us sounding the alarm.

He is crying out for us to cry aloud and spare not and join in with Him in ushering in the light.

The following verses prove what I am saying about these verses applying to the end times;

Isa 58:11-12

11 And YEHWEH will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in the dry places, and He will deliver your body: and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

12 And from you He will build the vanished places that were made desolate: and He will rise up the foundation of many generations; and you will be called THE REPAIRER OF THE BREACH, THE RESTORER OF PATHS TO DWELL IN.

This time that we are in is about Him restoring things through a people who will turn to Him and join in with Him in what He is restoring.

He wants us all involved in the repairing of the breach that man under satan's guidance has desolated.

The next verse in Isaiah talks about returning to His Sabbaths;

Isa 58:13-14

13 If you will turn your feet to the Sabbath, and do my desire on my set apart day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the sanctified of YEHWEH, and glorify it; and glorify His path, and attain His desire by speaking His words:

He said that if you do these things, then;

14 Then you will delight upon YEHWEH; and you will ride upon the high places of the earth and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: BECAUSE THE MOUTH OF YEHWEH HAS SPOKEN IT.

Wow, this sounds like an awesome time of healing.

But go back and read, receiving His deliverance is conditional.

And His Sabbaths are a big part of turning to Him and this includes His 7^th year annual Sabbath that we are in now.

The world just celebrated the end of a year on their pagan calendar but there are still a couple of months left in our Elohiym's calendar.

So few hearkened to His 7^th year Sabbath when they heard about it and it did not go out to the world.

This is all part of the witness against man.

These verses are definitely referring to the fast that YEHWEH wants us to fast for and even though it has been what He has always wanted us to fast for; they are specifically pointing to the last days.

There is no doubt that these verses applied to this past Day of Atonement but the same cry is ongoing today.

And we need to cry out for His wrath to come so that people will have their ears pricked into hearing so that His good news will go out to the whole world.

There is no other way for it to go out because most people will refuse to hear without it.

For the U.S. it would be on Wednesday which means it would start on Tuesday night for those in the U.S.

We have to obey Him from where we are at until His rotations of His clock are restored.

This is the same thing that Yehshua told us to pray for.

He told us to pray that His Father's will would be done on earth as it is in heaven.

This means that we must pray for all of those who refuse His will to be purged out.

There is no other way for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We must turn to Him so that our cry is heard, even if it is just a handful of us that are crying out.

We must cry out that He will do whatever He has to do in order for the world to hear His Ezekiel 24 signal so that some will hearken to His call to return to Him.

We must cry for the waves of calamity to carry it to the world so that they can either repent or be purged out.

The witness against man is most will not hearken to Him any other way.

This is the fast that He has called for us to offer up to Him.

It is the same fast that He has always wanted us to offer up to Him but now it is the time for it to be fulfilled.
