2011 (5771) FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS

We are fast approaching the Feast of First Fruits also known as the Feast of Weeks.

Today, most refer to this feast today as Pentecost which is the Greek word that means to count fifty.

There are a several different schools of thought in the world today in regards to how this day is reckoned.

I have exposed their error in a previous two part video called “The Feast of First Fruits.”

Today I want to examine the timing of this Feast from a simple logical perspective.

Then I will expose how the early emerging apostate church perverted this day early on with what became known as Pentecost.

It is a commonly held belief that Moses brought down the Ten Commandments the first time on this day.

I agree with this whole heartedly because he did.

This event proves the timing of this Feast.

There are three Feasts that are commanded.

Some want to use Leviticus 23 to say that there are seven Feasts and this is not true.

They need to look up the words used in the first 4 verses and in verse 37.

They do not say that these are YEHWEH’s Feasts as the translations render.

They say that these are YEHWEH’s APPOINTED TIMES.

And just three of these Appointed Times are listed as Feasts.

They are the Feast of Unleavened Bread, The Feast of First Fruits and the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Feasts were timed by our Creator around the three different harvests, the spring harvest of the barley, the summer harvest of the summer fruits which included the summer wheat and the fall harvest of the olives and such.

The winter wheat is also harvested in the spring but this happens several weeks after the barley harvest and it is still part of the spring harvest.

Now let’s examine the event of Moses bringing down the tablets and see how this proves the timing of the summer feast.

Ex 19:1-2

19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel came forth out of the land of Egypt, “THE SAME DAY” they came into the wilderness of Sinai.

It is very important that we understand that they traveled by night, just as Moses recorded when they left Egypt.

They left Egypt on the night of the 15th day of the first month.

They did not travel on the 15th day which also became the First Day of Unleavened Bread.

It was the Sabbath day.

Maybe it had not been restored to them yet, but it was still the Sabbath day since the days of Adam and Eve as far as our Creator is concerned.

He would not have commanded them to march out of there on the Sabbath.

The night is no longer the Sabbath day; this is why YEHWEH sent them out by night. The Sabbath was over.

YEHWEH gave them a pillar of fire to light their way.

Yes, they He gave them a cloud to lead them during the day as well when they left Egypt because they traveled day and night to get to the Red Sea, but He did not instruct them to travel on the Sabbath day.

It is clear that they left Egypt at night after the day time portion of the 15th.

The language in this verse is impossible to refute that they came to Mount Sinai on the same day that they left Egypt.

It would have been the night time portion of the 15thday of the 3rd month.

It is important that you do not let erroneous Jewish customs get in the way of your understanding on this.

The days are not reckoned from sundown to sundown as Jewish custom upholds.

It is easy to prove this with scripture.

They twist a few scriptures to uphold this erroneous doctrine instead of simply believing the scriptures that say otherwise.

Each day begins at the breaking of day and it lasts until the breaking of day the following morning.

The Holy convocation part of the day is the daylight portion of it.

Many do not understand the timing of the Passover and much more because they have bought into the sundown to sundown doctrine that came from satan.

After the daylight portion or the Sabbath portion of the 15th day of the third month, the children of Israel came to the mount and set up camp.

It is the only way that scripture reconciles itself and scripture always defines itself.

This is how we can know that Saul and Luke and Mark are false as well because their teachings contradict the eye witnesses and the prophets.

Moses goes on;

2 After they departed from Rephidim and came to the desert of Sinai, they set up camp in the wilderness; there Israel camped before the mount.

3 And Moses went up unto Elohiym, and YEHWEH called out to him from the mountain, saying, THUS YOU SHALL STAND BEFORE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL AND SAY TO THE HOUSE OF JACOB;

4 YOU HAVE SEEN WHAT I DID TO THE EGYPTIANS AND HOW I BARE YOU ON EAGLES' WINGS AND BROUGHT YOU TO ME.

5 HENCEFORTH, IF YOU WILL LISTEN TO AND OBEY MY VOICE AND KEEP MY COVENANT, THEN YOU WILL BE A TREASURE UNTO ME ABOVE ALL PEOPLE: BECAUSE ALL OF THE EARTH IS MINE:

It is amazing how so many in the world today want to ignore all of our Creator’s and His Son’s “IFS”

Everything is conditional on our listening to Him and obeying Him, yet almost none have listened to either of them nor have they obeyed them.

Consider why He will send His wrath in lieu of this.

And ask yourself just how much affliction will it take to get you to acknowledge that you have transgressed against Him?

How much will you go through before you will cry out to Him to be forgiven so that you can enter into His covenant?

If you think that I am wrong, then answer one simple question to yourself; why did He create you?

Did He create you to rebel against Him or to make you in His image?

The people answered Moses that day;

Ex 19:8

8 And all the people answered together, and said, “WE WILL DO ALL THAT YEHWEH SPEAKS”

LIARS!

They lied to themselves and to their Creator, just as each of you do if you say that you love Him and His Son apart from hearkening to what they say.

Is it love for a child to live in rebellion to their parents?

No, it is a total lack of love and appreciation for bringing them into the world.

How much more so with YEHWEH Elohiym who simply wants to perfect us and give us eternal life in His family?

Ex 19:10-11

10 And YEHWEH said to Moses, Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,

11 and tell them to prepare for THE THIRD DAY: because YEHWEH will come down upon Mount Sinai before of all the people ON THE THIRD DAY

So we have the 16th day, the 17th day and the 18th day.

The 18th day is the third day, it is impossible to refute this.

What happened in the 18th day?

He called Moses up to the mountain for 40 days and Moses returned with the tablets.

This takes us to the 29th day of the 4th month if there are only 29 days in the 3rd month.

Otherwise, it lands on the 28th day of the 4th month if there are 30 days in the 3rd month which was always the case back then and there always will be again when Yehshua returns and the rotations are restored.

There is a book that Joshua quoted and the writer of Jude quoted that is called the book of Jasher.

The book of Jasher says that the Law was given on the 6th day of the 3rd month.

How is this possible?

It is not.

The book of Jasher had to have been altered somewhere along the line to fit the new emerging doctrine of the false feast day called Pentecost.

There is no other answer.

Now let’s examine how the 28th or now sometimes the 29th day of the 4th month fits in with the instructions given to us to count to this Feast.

The complete set of instructions is found in Leviticus 23 and there is an abbreviated set of instructions found in Deuteronomy 16 as well.

Lev 23:15-16

15 (YOU SHALL COUNT) unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; SEVEN SABBATHS SHALL BE COMPLETE

16 until the morrow after the seventh Sabbath.
(YOU SHALL COUNT) fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering unto YEHWEH.

As you can see, there are two different counts.

It says count twice, not once. It is just a matter of believing what it says.

One of the counts is seven Sabbaths completed and from the morrow after the 7th Sabbath we count 50 days, including that day, this is a second count.

It really is this simple and it is the only way that scripture reconciles itself.

And we must use His calendar for the first count to remind us how He keeps track of weeks.

People want to say that these two counts are the same count.

This is not true and there is no way for it to fit into the rest of scripture.

For one reason, these other methods always end up with the Feast early in the 3rd month when the spring harvest is still going on with the winter wheat being harvested still.

I went into this in more detail in the Feast of First Fruits videos, parts 1 & 2.

There are a few different beliefs as when the wave sheaf is waved that we are to begin to count from.

The first of the two primary schools is we are to start the count the day after the Saturday that falls within the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

This method uses the fixed day of Saturday on the pagan calendar as the weekly Sabbath and this is easily proven to be false both in scripture and in history.

For this reason, I won’t spend much time on this today.

I just want to point out that when the first Saturday of this Feast lands on the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, then they have to pervert their count even further by going to the proceeding Saturday to count from so that they can make the wave sheaf to be waved within the Feast which it must.

The problem with this is they are counting from a false Sabbath that is not even within the feast week even if it was a Sabbath.

The extent that people will go to in order to uphold their false doctrines is amazing.

The false prophet Ron Weinland uses this method.

I bring him up only because he claims that he and his wife are the two witnesses and some will be inclined to follow him to the lake of fire when the destruction begins because he has prophesied a form of it.

Also, because he also claims that Yehshua will return on this Feast in 2012 but he is off by 53 days because he does not believe the scriptures nor our Creator’s calendar.

The second primary school has the day of the wave sheaf right.

They know that the wave sheaf is always waved on the 16th day of the 1st month, just as Leviticus 23:11 outlines that it is.

The 15th is always the Sabbath and in the first month, it is always the High Sabbath of the 1st day of Unleavened Bread, just as the 15th day of the 7th month is always the High Sabbath of the Feast of Tabernacles.

Yet many who even begin to count from the proper day even mess up the first leg of this count because they do not use our Creator’s calendar to determine the Sabbaths.

They use the High day but they do not understand that this is also the weekly Sabbath because they hold onto the Saturday Sabbath as well.

And they end up on the 5th, 6th or 7th day of the 3rd month.

The beautiful thing about our Creator’s design is it teaches us to always remember His calendar because we need it in order to show up for His appointments at the right time, including this one.

The first leg of this count always ends up on the 9th day of the 3rd month which is always the day after the 7th Sabbath is completed.

The 7th Sabbath after the wave sheaf is always on the 8th day of the 3rd month.

Some have asked why He did not give us the actual day that this Feast is on instead of instructing us to count for it.

He certainly gave us the days for His other two Feasts.

The answer is simple; first, the count is to teach us His calendar and to serve as a reminder of it for the generations to follow.

And, He could not give us a fixed date because He knew that He would shorten the cycle during the days of King Hezekiah and He needed a way to tie it all in together to show us the completeness of His design.

He was very meticulous and deliberate in His design so that we could know His precision and know who has His commandments and keeps them.

This is also why He allowed satan to pervert His calendar.

He was allowed to do what he did to separate those who did not want to fight to hold fast to the truth or learn the truth.

This whole process that we call life is a test of our resolve and our determination to want His ways.

He knew that after He would shorten the cycles of the moons rotations that this Feast could land on either the 28th day or the 29th day of the 4th month so He did not assign a day for it, nor did He inspire Moses or anyone else to record a day for it.

He simply gave us a count to test and to prove us.

Satan has been bent on changing time and laws just as Daniel recorded that his servants would do.

He purposed to set on the mountain of the Appointed Times just as Isaiah prophesied that he would.

His plan to set on the mount of the Appointed Times picked up steam as the apostate church emerged in first century after Yehshua’s ascension.

The whole story of Pentecost is based on a lie that has brought forth a host of false religious beliefs about speaking in tongues and such.

And it perverted the count to this feast by leaving out the first leg of the count which led to all sorts of other erroneous ideas that have confused people.

The deception started in the book of Luke;

Luke 24:49

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but “TARRY IN THE CITY OF JERUSALEM,” UNTIL YOU BE ENDUED WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH.

He is speaking of giving them the Holy Spirit.

Was Luke an eye witness?

No, there is no evidence that he was anywhere near Yehshua during His life here in the flesh.

He came on the scene several years later and so did his teacher Saul.

So how could Luke quote Yehshua?

He could not.

He certainly recorded some part truths right because he undoubtedly heard or read what the eye witnesses spoke or wrote.

Satan was busy deceiving the world at this time, just as he is now.

He was busy setting up what would become the mother whore of Babylon and her daughters and Luke and Saul and many of their followers were playing right into his hand.

Contrast what Luke recorded in comparison to when an eye witness recorded that the true apostles received the Holy Spirit?

John 20:21-22

21 Then Yehshua said to them, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so I send you.

22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT

So who do you want to believe?

An eye witness, or a liar who could not even record a story 2 out of 3 times the same way in his own writings?

(I am referring Saul’s so-called Damascus road experience that Luke recorded 3 different and conflicting ways in the book of Acts)

Of course if you want to believe Luke instead of the Apostle John, then you are set up and primed to buy into his other book, the book of Acts.

If so, then you are set up to buy into the story of Pentecost and the whole perversion of the count 50 that left out the first count.

And then you can buy into the whole tongues thing or countless other perversions of the truth that came out of the teachings of the abomination of desolation.

Our Creator’s design is perfect, it keeps us focusing on His ways if we will listen to Him and obey His voice.

There are three Feasts and they all three revolve around the three different harvests.

There are not two spring feasts.

Can you see how satan has muddied this all up in his efforts to sit on the mount of the Appointed Times by changing the way they are determined?

The Feast of First Fruits was given to us to point to the summer Harvest.

The law was given on this day because the law was what was used to grow those who have become the First Fruits.

Yehshua will return on this Feast to harvest His Father’s First Fruits into His Kingdom.

The early Spring Harvest was when He and the 24 elders were resurrected into the Kingdom.

The latter Fall Harvest will be after the Great white Throne of Judgment when many will resurrected into His family.

The Feast of First Fruits will fall on July 31st this year in my location in Southern Europe but we must each be faithful to our individual locations.

Some want to make this about a uniform date on man’s calendar.

The Appointed Times have nothing to do with when they land on man’s pagan calendar in different time zones, nor do they have anything to do with our own reasoning for how they are determined.

Some want to base each month off of the New Moon sighting in Jerusalem and it will be in just over a year.

But now Israel is scattered to the four corners of the earth so we have to be faithful to where we are.

It is not about a uniform date on a pagan calendar.

Our Creator gave us a calendar that we could use wherever we were scattered to.

Yehshua referred to Jerusalem as Sodom and Egypt in the last days, why would you base His Father’s set apart Feasts from that location?

What is important is that we obey our Creator with the system that He gave us to test us and to prove us.

This Feast is a commanded Feast to show up before Him and we are not to show up before Him empty handed.

There is no Levitical system in place to bring an offering today so each of you wanting to obey Him will have to search this out with His guidance.

It is a set apart day, holy unto our Elohiym and this year it marks the one year bell to His Son’s return.

I wanted to finish off today tying in how Moses bringing the tablets down off of the mountain proves the count that I have shared with you today.

I said that the first leg of the count was the seven Sabbaths completed after the wave sheaf offering and that the day after the 7th Sabbath always lands on the 9th day of the 3rd month.

We are to count this day in the 2nd leg just as it says. This is the count 50 day leg.

The 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th equals 10 days.

Remember, they came to Sinai on the end of the 15th, plus 3 days that they were commanded to prepare brought them to the 18th.

This is 10 days after the first leg of the 7 complete Sabbaths.

Moses was on the mountain for 40 days.

10 + 40 = 50

This is pretty hard to refute, especially with the evidence in history that the three feasts were associated with the three separate harvests.

Then you add into this the teachings about the summer fruit found in scripture and Yehshua’s reference when He said; are not there 4 months and then the harvest.

Winter wheat that is harvested in the spring takes 7 months to mature.

The wheat that is sown in the spring takes four months.

The First Fruits will be harvested at the end of the 4th month on this awesome feast day that is set apart to our Elohiym, just as they became set apart to become His First Fruits.

Remember the parable of the fig tree.

I’ll close today with reading you this parable;

Matt 24:32

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender and puts forth its leaves, know that summer is near.

Folks, if I am making this stuff up, I have quite the imagination indeed.

I have said over and over again that this is not about the date of His return anyway; it is about being ready and being found doing when He does return.

Being found doing would certainly include making sure that you have the correct timing and observance of this Feast and His other Appointed Times.
